Southern Go Kart Club Track

Attention Members – Warning

*Attention Members*

With the warmer weather upon us our favourite no legged friends are out and about. Yep, you guessed it, snakes!

Much like yourselves snakes enjoy our track and word on the street is there is a red belly black snake that whips a lap quicker than a TaG Light!

In all seriousness, please be aware that they are active and if you see one at the track do not touch them and please don’t attempt to kill it! It is illegal to kill snakes and should always be left to the professionals!

Luckily for Southern Go Kart Club we have our very own professional, the handsome and charming Warren Mitchell

So if you do come across a snake anywhere at the track please contact Warren on 0432 588 471 as soon as possible.

2017 Bolivar Historic Grand Prix

Historic and vintage karts will be back in action at the Southern Go Kart Club on May 5th, 6th & 7th. Don’t be fooled by their age, some of these kart and engine combinations would shame some of the modern machinery we race today.

This isn’t just a show and shine, rev limited, Sunday drive either! Drivers will be pushing these examples of kart history to the limit in the top 10 shootouts to show just what these karts are still capable of.

The Bolivar Historic Grand Prix will be laid back meeting that will provide a great opportunity to see these machines up close. So if the sound of engines singing at 20,000 rpm and minimal to non-existent body work gets your blood pumping, attendance is a must!!!
