Summary Of Changes;

Festival State Cup R5 8th September removed/replaced by Festival State Cup R3 June 16th.

SA Kart Championship confirmed for September 21st-22nd.

Southern Sprint Cup 28th July has been removed and will have no replacement meeting.

Festival State Cup Calendar Confirmed!

Festival State Cup calendar is confirmed!

In a bid to bring karters back, 2019 sees the return of the much loved Festival State Cup series after a 3 year absence. Racers will contest 5 rounds covering Whyalla, Barossa, Southern and Monarto. There will be a free practice the day prior to the race meeting and all competitors will drop their 4 worst race results over the entire series.

Southern Go kart Club will be hosting rounds 2 and 3.

The 2019 Karting SA is live!!!

Head to www.kartingsa.com.au to have look. You will have to go to the ‘calendar’ page and click the arrow to change the month from December 2018 to January 2019 to bring up the racing meeting list for next year.

Notable changes are;

SA Kart Championship goes back to a one (1) round meeting (venue TBA).

After 3 long years the Festival State Cup series is finally back!!!

We have decided that the December general club meeting need not be held as there is not a lot happening at the moment.

See you all at our first 2019 meeting on the 8th of January.

2018 State Presentation Dinner

2018 State Presentation Dinner

Tickets are now available for the annual presentation dinner being held at the Port Adelaide Football club on Friday the 7th of December. Club Awards, State Awards and many ‘Give Aways’ will be on offer. It is a great social evening away from the track.

Tickets are Adults $50, Youth 13 – 15 years old $35 and children 4 – 12 years old $20. Bookings can be made through CMS under Karting SA. Look forward to seeing you all there. Bookings close on Monday the 3rd of December

City Of Adelaide Titles – Announcements & Changes

Announcements & Changes
2018 City Of Adelaide Titles

Pro Karts Pooraka will be supporting the 2018 City Of Adelaide Titles meeting this weekend! They will be sponsoring the meetings ‘Feature Class’ as well as prizes for podium places in other classes but that will depend on the number of classes and entrants, so get entered!!!

The race meeting has been reduced to a one day meeting (racing Sunday) and the format to be adjusted depending on entries and classes. The entry fee has been reduced to $70 and for those competitors that have already paid, you will receive a refund of $30. The track will be open on Saturday for unofficial practice but this is only for competitors who are entered in the race meeting on Sunday.

There will be NO security provided over the weekend. Camping is still available for people who wish to do so. To arrange camping please contact Brett or Warren as soon as possible.

Entries will be accepted on the day and a quick reminder to all ‘P’ platers that you are eligible to enter. This also applies to ‘E’ grade (practice) license holders who are eligible to have their one (1) permitted race meeting per year. Great opportunity to get out there and experience the thrill of racing.

We want to see as many racer’s out there as possible. Every entry counts and goes a long way to supporting the Southern Go Kart Club.
